Magnetic Covers for 20mm MFT Dog Holes

Lofi 20mm MFT Bench Dog Covers keep sawdust, screws, and small parts out of nominal 20mm workbench dog holes with chamfered openings. Each cover sits flush with the benchtop, and every set of 16, 32, or 48 includes one magnetic removal tool.

I got tired of vacuuming sawdust out of my dog holes, losing small parts down them, and chasing loose plugs around the shop. So I designed covers that keep the holes covered until I actually need them.

A small integrated lip rests in the chamfer to help keep dust and debris out. A built-in magnetic insert adds weight and gives the included removal tool something to grab. When it's time to use a dog hole, lift the cover out and get back to work.

These are the same style of covers I use on my own bench every day. Nothing fancy, just a small fix for a recurring shop annoyance.

Will These Fit My Workbench?

These covers are designed for nominal 20mm MFT-style dog holes with chamfered openings. Actual hole sizes and chamfers vary between manufacturers and homemade benchtops, so please measure yours before ordering.

Is the Magnetic Removal Tool Included?

Yes. Every set includes one magnetic removal tool, whether you choose 16, 32, or 48 covers. Use it to lift the covers out when you need access to your dog holes.

Can I Choose a Color?

I print these with whatever filament is currently loaded in the shop, so colors may vary from set to set. Think of it as shop-floor roulette. If you need a specific color, send me a note before ordering and I'll do my best to accommodate.

About 3D Printed Parts

These are working shop accessories, not polished display pieces. Minor layer lines, small cosmetic variations, and slight surface differences are normal parts of the 3D printing process and do not affect fit or performance.

Each set ships within 1–3 business days from my Long Beach workshop. Designed, printed, and tested in the shop.
