The Lofi Plinth is something I designed because I couldn't find what I was looking for — a phone stand that actually belonged on a desk. Not a plastic dock. Not a cable pile. Something with weight, warmth, and a reason to exist beyond just holding a charge.

It's a wireless charging stand and passive acoustic amplifier built from solid wood. Your phone rests at a comfortable viewing angle while it charges, and the integrated acoustic channel projects sound forward naturally, no electronics, no power required, just geometry and wood.

Each Plinth is built from laminated layers of solid wood — yellow pine, white oak, and hickory, glued up, shaped by hand and finished with a durable hardwax oil. The layered construction gives each piece its distinctive striped profile and makes every one structurally unique. 

A clear acrylic panel runs through the body of the stand, exposing the wireless charging hardware inside. It's a deliberate design choice — part transparency, part contrast, the kind of detail that makes you look twice.
